1. a group of girls around 4th grade-age range secretly having a fashion show walk off behind the bushes at recess, including sass, hip swaying, playful kiss blowing, and hair flipping.
2. A couple of teenagers making out hard core in a gazebo in the apartment complex (and a 50 something year old woman - my neighbor - watching them as if it were a telenovela), and then the very sweet security guard who came to break up the love fest. Poor Simon... & poor teens who have no where to make out without being broken apart by the overly secretive/conservative culture of Catholic Latin America.
Off to the Tolima game against Independiente, a team from Buenos Aires, the semifinal of the South American fútbol cup! Super excitement. Might just be the most overwhelming place I could possibly find myself in this country. Update after the game!
