I had my first English class tonight. I was super nervous, but things turned out alright. We went through the different pronunciations of vowels & consonants. Very interesting...
In what I am coming to learn is true Colombian fashion, 10 students had signed up, and 4 showed up - and that is including my 2 host parents. Not to mention that 2 of the 4 (the non-host family students) showed up late. Yikes.
Then we went for my favorite arepas, and witnessed the streets literally turn into rivers with a monsoon-ish downpour.
